Travel the world inside your wine glass. Since we can not travel far these days, bring the world to you with bottles from underappreciated, fascinating corners of the world. This month we are proud to present Slovenia, Syria and Morocco with these beautiful wines.

Movia “Gredič” 2018

This is a rich white wine from the Goriska Brda region. 100% Friulano with body, intriguing aromatics, and a clean finish. Movia is definitely a minimal interventionist in the vineyard and cellar, and is able to produce wines with incredible precision and personality.

Domaine de Bargylus “Grand Vin de Syrie Rouge” 2012

One of our favourite reds here at Preludio. The Bargylus is a powerful Syrah blend and if you appreciate a full bodied red you will fall immediately in love. Coming from the northwest mountain range in Syria the depth and complexity proves why people have maintained vineyards in this area for millenia.

Domaine de Bargylus “Grand Vin de Syrie Blanc” 2012

Majority Chardonnay this elegant wine brings together, white flowers, citrus, papaya, and a touch of salinity. Try this round, complex wine and support the people following their passion regardless of their countries current situation.

Thalvin Winery “Syrocco” 2017

Syrah + Morocco = Syrocco Haha! A lighter, aromatic style of syrah from the iconic Allain Graillot of Crozes Hermitage brings his skills to Morocco. Coming from Zenata, the coastal, northern region of Morocco, this is a fun syrah that will not overpower any meat dish it is paired with.
